Who can use Fairshot

• You must be 18 or older.
• One person, one account. A ban follows the person, not the character.

Your character and your identity

• Companies see your character, your work and your time zone, never your name, email or face, until you both agree to an interview.
• We check your identity privately before your first interview or first payout.

Quests

• Free jobs are unpaid and every entry gets written feedback.
• Hiring quests use a made-up brief and an effort pool shared equally by everyone who hands in complete work. The company may not use that work.
• Paid work quests pay every complete entry the stated amount.
• You keep the rights to your entry unless a paid work quest says otherwise and you are paid.
• Every company promises a reply within the stated days.

Money

• You never pay to apply, to take a test or to get work. Foundations courses are free.
• Paid courses come with the Learn plan: $12 a month or $99 a year for every course. It is optional, renews until you cancel, and cancelling keeps it open to the end of what you paid for. Your first subscription is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days, from Settings. A course or the pass bought before the plan stays yours, refundable within 14 days of buying.
• No course, plan or subscription is ever needed to propose on work, and none buys a better place in any list.
• Certificates of completion are free. They show you finished a course, not a test result.
• Companies pay the pool or entry pay up front, plus a 10% fee, and a hire fee if they hire someone they met here.
• Payouts are possible once your wallet holds $20.

Not allowed

• Asking for money, gift cards, crypto, logins or personal documents.
• Moving a conversation off Fairshot to avoid the rules.
• Fake companies, fake work or someone else's work.
